Privacy notice — TWT Page Helper

The helper and its purpose

TWT Page Helper is a personal tool operated by Tony Eldridge for the Tuesdays With Tony Facebook Page and the linked @tonyeldridge918 Instagram professional account. It is not open for public registration and is not sponsored or endorsed by Meta.

I use the helper to send approved photos, videos, titles, descriptions, covers and release dates to Meta through its official APIs. It reads the approved account identities and saved content details so we can avoid duplicate uploads and check that the approved material and schedule were saved correctly.

Information used

The helper uses my approved source materials and the Meta information needed to carry out and verify those instructions. This can include Page, Instagram account and content identifiers, saved text and release times, upload and processing status, disclosure results, and a current saved image or video cover for comparison.

It does not provide tools for reading private messages, collecting follower profiles, managing ads or selling data. Some permissions needed by Meta's supported publishing and cover-upload routes are broader than those individual operations; the helper uses them only for the described work.

Authorized assistance and security

Codex helps prepare my approved instructions, launch the local helper and review the limited status needed to operate it. The helper's ordinary output is a fixed notice linking to a local report. Detailed Meta responses and downloaded saved images remain in the local helper's records by default. If I ask Codex to review additional details or images, that selected information is processed by OpenAI under the applicable terms and account settings. Local execution does not mean every part of the assistant service remains on the computer. See OpenAI's privacy information and data controls.

The helper uses Meta's supported authorization processes. Its local credential storage encrypts the Facebook Page authorization and approved Instagram business authorization with Windows DPAPI for my Windows account; credentials are loaded into local runtime memory when needed. The publishing runtime is designed to keep token values out of chat messages, command arguments and ordinary output. Software running under that same Windows account remains within its trust boundary. Encrypted storage does not prevent a token from expiring or being invalidated.

Instagram future publishing uses approved local Windows jobs rather than a native Instagram future-schedule field. The laptop must be available at the release time. The approved photo and Reel-cover delivery images are publicly hosted so Meta can retrieve them; a public image URL is not private, even when it is not listed in website navigation. Video files use direct official API uploads rather than public video hosting.

Local records and retention

The helper keeps minimal current recovery information and verification outcomes, rather than accumulating complete API-response histories. It may keep a current downloaded copy of a saved photo or cover. Those records help us resume an interrupted upload and avoid creating duplicates.

I retain Meta-derived information only while it is needed for the described purpose or as otherwise required by applicable obligations. Applicable correction and deletion requests, stopping the helper's service, or ending a service-provider relationship trigger a review and removal of the affected information as required by Meta's rules. The current helper has no automatic background cleanup service; I remain responsible for carrying out those duties.

My original videos, artwork and written copy are separate owner source materials. Removing an API cache does not by itself delete those originals.

Revocation, correction and deletion

I can revoke the app's access through Meta's app or business-integration controls. Revocation stops authorized API access; it does not automatically erase local records or content already held by Facebook or Instagram.

For correction or removal, use the data-deletion instructions or email tuesdayswithtonyauthor@gmail.com. As the helper's only user, I can also request removal through the authenticated assistant workflow used to operate it. A request covers applicable local Meta-derived information and relevant copies placed with service providers; their storage locations and deletion procedures are handled separately.

Content already uploaded to Facebook or Instagram is managed through Meta's own controls. Removing local helper information is not a request to remove a Facebook or Instagram post unless that is also requested.

Questions or security concerns

Email tuesdayswithtonyauthor@gmail.com for privacy questions or security reports and identify TWT Page Helper. You can also use the Message control on the Tuesdays With Tony Facebook Page. Do not send passwords, access tokens or app secrets. I may need enough information to identify the affected request and verify that the person asking is entitled to the requested change.

Meta handles information it receives under its own privacy policy. This notice applies to TWT Page Helper, not every service on the Tuesdays With Tony website.
